Travelling to SES

The School of English Studies is conveniently located in Folkestone just 1 hour from London and approximately 2 hours from Paris. Regular bus and train services are available from all London airports to central London and then to Folkestone. The Channel Tunnel is only 5 minutes away and Dover Ferry Port 15 minutes.

For students attending a Young Learners Course

We provide a free meeting and trasnfer service to and from London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports and Ashford International on our start and finish dates between 10.00 and 17.00 on arrival day and between 12.00 and 19.00 on departure day.  For arrivals and departures at other times and dates we can arrange a special 

transfer at additional cost.

On our start and finish dates we provide a welcome club for arrivals at Heathrow airport.  Here students can begin their SES summer experience in comfort and safety in a supervised environment.  On arrival at the welcome club, students check-in and are given information about the time of their onward transfer to the SES school.  After check-in students are free to relax and enjoy the activities and entertainment provided including outdoor sports such as football, basketball and volleyball and indoor acitivities such as table tennis and a cinema showing English films.  The club is supervised by adult staff at all times and food and drink is served throughout the day.
