Homestay for Students aged 14 -17
The School
SES is located at the heart of the seaside town of Folkestone, only 7 miles from the town of Dover and 16 miles from the city of Canterbury. This well-equipped English language school offers light airy classrooms, recreation rooms and spacious outdoor areas.
Accommodation
SES can arrange accommodation with English speaking host families within comfortable walking distance of the school. In July and August, it may be necessary for you to take a short bus ride. We know how important the family atmosphere is in helping you make the most of your stay in Folkestone. Our full-time Accommodation & Welfare Officer visits every host family on a regular basis and selects homes where we know you will be comfortable, cared for and encouraged to speak English.
Meals
All meals are included. Breakfast and evening meals are shared with the family and a hot lunch is provided to eat at school. Vegetarian and special diets are catered for.
Safety and Welfare
Your safety is our first priority. We have a full-time Accommodation & Welfare Officer and we operate an emergency telephone line 24 hours a day. Qualified First Aiders will always be present and are legally obliged to follow the SES safety and welfare guidelines. Our host families are rigorously selected and follow our detailed guidelines.
