SES has been providing pioneering and proven methods of teaching English for over 50 years. We were the first school in the UK to launch an Executive English language course and the first in the world to open a dedicated listening centre.

SES is accredited by the British Council and is a member of EnglishUK.  SES is a tier four registered sponsor as part of the Gins Alliance.

Your teachers are experts

Studying at SES will give you unique access to our experienced team of English language teachers. They have written a number of English teaching books between them and are committed to sharing their knowledge and experience with you. Supporting this team is Mark Fletcher, our Group Learning Consultant and internationally known pioneer of Brain-friendly learning. Mark, along with our Principal and Director of Studies, is responsible for ensuring that SES remains at the forefront of innovation and setting new standards for English language schools.

Performance driven sessions

Each lesson is designed to concentrate on developing one of the key skills required to use the English language fluently. In order to achieve this effectively the number of participants varies with each activity, with a majority of lessons in groups of 8 maximum and some lessons in workshops of 12.
